On re-read (2025), my opinion still stands. It would'be been a good story if so much of it didn't depend on missed chances, missed calls, missed meetings etc. It frustrated the heck outta me.
Original read (2017): I don't like it when the murderer keeps getting away with stuff because of the stupidity of other people. And in this book, everyone behaved like a brainless dodo. They didn't tell, they lied, they didn't think it important, they hid stuff, they left it for later... If it happened once ...more

Solid writing in a standard but exciting mystery. A good read.
