So, I picked this up on a whim --- one of those, "Let's find a silly romance novel and see how bad it can be." Oh, did I succeed.
This came across as some sort of Beauty & the Beast / Iron Man mashup, except the heroine of the story is incredibly self-centered and naggy; she endlessly whines about how horrible of a ruler the prince is, how things are better in America --- "they just are, I don't know why" --- and then, at the end, becomes the perfect housewife princess.
