What Members Thought
A book like this couldn't be written these days. We're too ironic, too jaded. It's not that this book is immature or unsophisticated, but it's *open*, and we no longer are. My copy is a 70s era paperback, and I can smell the good smell of old books when I read it, and feel back in time. A good read for a hot summer evening.

While looking for a different Adams book I remembered how much I really enjoyed reading this book while in High School.I think I may revisit it soon.

Well, So much for loving a book in High School. But seriously, I did enjoy it very much Richard Adams has a great imagination, and has a way of totally submerging into the world of the fuzzy bunnies. He has a way of totally humainizing his animals in both this and The Plague Dogs, that if you aren't careful you too, will begin to feel that ...more
