I really liked this book. It was a good story, weaving a struggle for survival with danger and bunnies. Plus, I really appreciated that Adams researched rabbits and how they live, so there were a lot of real-life details sprinkled in, like them thumping the ground in danger, and how and when they eat.

I can't believe I waited so long to read this! I LOVED IT! I saw the movies eons ago and really didn't remember anything about it, except that it was a story about rabbits.
It's such a fun story and I really think it's one that anyone would enjoy.
I blew through this on the last day of vacation and traveling back home, I'll read this again for sure. ...more

This was my first book love. I read it for the first time in fourth grade, during the IOWA tests, because I'm a fast test-taker and I always had time between sections. Then, I read it over and over again...at least a dozen times.

Watership Down is a cute book, but I had difficulties loosing myself in it. Perhaps because the main characters were rabbits, so I couldn't really relate? In any case I never forgot it was a book.
