I give up. I can't do this to myself anymore. This was a bestseller? For the record, I am most of the way through disc 2.
Maybe it's worse for me that I'm listening to the audiobook? She's doing this atonal singing thing for each chapter heading which is just...unforgivably awful.
Two stars instead of one because I blame her editor: if someone had thinned out the verbal twitching, the compulsive repetition of phrases she thinks pack a punch, the preening about how weird she is and ISN'T IT JUST S ...more

Laugh out loud funny, Jenny Lawson (aka The Bloggess) has written a wonderfully humorous, and surprisingly touching memoir of her life...so far. I enjoyed this thoroughly, and I can't wait to see more of her adventures in the future. Recommended for anyone who enjoys a good laugh, and for fans who also liked Tina Fey's Bossypants or David Sedaris's sense of humor.

Really funny. Too much profanity, but hysterical. Reminds me of my second cousins, the ones everyone wants to be around because they have great stories (like the goat story from Cousin Peggy) and tell them superbly.
