This is the book where I realized that Piers Anthony was color blind. The image of Luna, wearing a brown skirt, gray blouse, and green shoes shaped like luna moths is burned in my brain. Other than that, a PHENOMENAL book.
I have always enjoyed Piers Anthony's books but I had never read this series. As a whole I quite enjoyed this series of books. I found the characters and story to be clever and interesting. It sort of reminded me of a more adult version of a Rick Riordan series of books.

This is the first book that I abandoned in over a year. The plot per se was quite intriguing - the man who killed Death and became Reaper himself - but it wasn't enough to carry a whole novel. It would have been a great short story but as it is, it just drags on and on and on. Or maybe I'm just too old for it already. Might be.

This was the first of the "Incarnations of Immortality" books that I read, and my favorite. I would read this book again if I could borrow it from the library or pick it up from a free box or a Really, Really Free Market.

The further away I get from the first time I read an Anthony book, the more disagreements I have with the philosophy and/or ideals behind the book. I think that I won't be able to enjoy them within the next ten years.

Actually pretty decent, for Piers Anthony. Creative and interesting. The one about Time is also pretty good. The rest of this series makes me sort of fidgity.
