"A Long Walk to Water" is an amazing book. It is based on the true story of Salvo, one of the Lost Boys of Sudan, whose stories have been told for older readers but rarely for children. this is a really great book for kids. there is enough information for kids to see a little of the hardships that people in other countries survive, but not so much that it is too heavy for very young readers.

i loved this book. robert is reading it now, and i want to read it to joe and arthur.

i also love the hope this book ends with.
