Starts out as being a children's narrative, and then turns into a more-gruesome-than-not, real-to-life fairy tale sort of thing. Almost into the horror category. But intriguing. ...more

Engaging characters and an entertaining writing style. The ending was a bit of a reach, but it was an enjoyable read all the same.
