I half listened, half read this one. The narrator for the audio book had a great brogue that really added to the whole experience. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're into audio books.

This kept me interested, but I'm not really sure why. I didn't like Cassie from a first-person perspective; she lies too much and it's annoying when characters lie for no reason other than to continue the plot. Pile more lies on top of that one, and I start getting antsy and just want the book to end. Besides being a big liar, Cassie is also just a little nuts; I wondered how on earth she could still be a police officer and kept waiting for her to crack. Her resolution at the end was a little to

Satisfying mystery with more resolution than the first in the series. Complex characters, atmospheric. Not gruesome.
