I read this in junior high parts of it still stick with me today. Lisa's friends are concerned about her erratic behavior and drastic mood swings and try to figure out ways to help her. Turns out she has bipolar disorder (then called manic-depression) and is pretty sick. The parents in the book all seemed pretty clueless which was the most disturbing thing-or maybe I'm just not remembering it all. ...more
