Even if you might never steal a dog yourself, one could feel Georgina's desperation and though you don't want to root for her success, you still want her to succeed somehow... most of the book is her writing a detailed criminal plan to steal a dog to collect the reward, but the best made plans oft go awry. a good middle grade book about hard times and doing the right thing (or owning up to it when you don't.)
