It isn't often that I come across my mother-in-law's maiden name, so I thought I'd give this book a try. And it was definitely trying. I looked up the author and discovered that she was young (not quite "The Young Visiters" young, but still) and managed to forgive many of the bizarre pieces in the story as simply immature. ... But I don't think I'd be willing to read this again.

God is it still October? I both can't believe Halloween is around the corner and at the same time I'm anxious for it to be over. But I guess that's a little off topic. To help pass the time, I picked up this book. The premise sounded cute. Three girls in some strange future/alternate society are given these stones (that just happen to match their names) and they have to save their society from this evil council who want to basically rob people of their freedom and free will. Despite the negative review everyone has given this book I thought this book was beautifully written. The book is about three young girls destined to be together. Each chapter is a different girls point of view. It was so different and had such imaginary storyline that I couldn't wait for the next chapter.
The end however board me. I really thought the beginning was outstanding but by the end it really didn't make much sence. Even thought the end was far fetched this book really had heart. I love ...more
