Brilliantly witty descent into Rogue Male on the run.
Honestly I suspect 90% of the references went straight over my head, the story starts with full comedy then takes a dark road and keeps running with it. Definitely want to read the rest of these.

I've been listening to this at work (a caution - at times, it is NSFW); it's a good thing I have an office with a door that I can close! The narrator is excellent; I never felt as though I was listening to one person voicing many characters (though that is the case) - he imbued each character with it's own 'voice', which came through wonderfully. The story itself is a fantastic mix of sarcasm, noir, snobbery, and danger. I even got teary at one point. It definitely kept me listening.
