The premise was great, and it started off well. The audiobook version was terrible, but I think I'd have been bored by the written version too. I just kept thinking "get on with it". It might have been great as a short story.

Impossible to classify or describe this book. Relentless suspense, but with lovely and comprehensive character development. You will need to find someone to discuss it with pretty much the minute you finish reading.
