Much as I appreciate this intelligent and sophisticated children's series about three "tweens" who solve art-related mysteries, I didn't think this one had quite the tightness of previous entries. The story takes one child, Calder, out of Chicago and places him, for not-quite-a-good reason, in Woodstock, England, where he promptly disappears. It seemed like it might be interesting, so I snagged it at the library ... unfortunately, there was a lot of exposition and the plot just seemed ... somehow difficult to believe in, and not that interesting. (I made it about halfway through.) It reminded me of the Genius Squad books.
