Basically, Liane Moriarty writes crack cocaine fiction. I have now read three of her books, and every one them had to be read in a day because they are UNPUTDOWNABLE. I absolutely could have read twice as many pages, and been just as riveted. The other two I've read were a bit different, in that they were about murders and affairs and things that I (hopefully) never encounter. This one was addictive because it was a bit more normal. I really wanted to give this book 5 stars. For most of it I lived the book, in a way that I haven't done for a long time. I loved seeing people react to "young Alice" and was fascinated by the idea of having lost all memory of the last 10 years (how would I react if I thought it was 2006 and woke up to 2016? Probably wouldn't be quite as big a shock as for Alice, as there haven't been quite as many changes in my life - but still!).

An excellent premise for a well-executed novel; I really had a hard time putting this one down. I loved how Moriarty gives us snippets of what happened in Alice's 10 "lost" years as she realizes what has brought her to the person she has now become.
