A month later...
This book was really interesting.... But I think it would have been better in print... The girl who read the book was just soooo booorrrriiinnngggg.... I mean, it's not like Karana was a peppy American teenager, but GEEZ, some feeling would be nice. But then, maybe it was the writing... Who knows! I remember liking this book a lot more when I was younger. This time? It was a lot like Cast Away. Long. ...more

This wowed me as a kid, in the way of Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. I should reread it, though, bc I don't remember any details.
