There were moments that this book was really good and moments where it was just meh. On the whole I think that Myracle did a good job of capturing the heady but confusing and messy aspects of first love, and while her characters were mature they also occasionally acted in ways that rang true to their youth, which is sometimes missing from YA books.

A little more mature than earlier Myracle books like TTFN and Peace, Love and Baby Ducks, more like a Sarah Dessen or Stephanie Perkins but with sex (and sexting!).

On one level, I really enjoyed the writing, the way sexuality was addressed with teens, and some of the characters, especially Charlie. However (view spoiler)
