Total train wreck about the most insane group of people you could possibly imagine. Darkly funny and twisted and I loved every minute of it!

Not as enjoyable as his short story collections, in my opinion. At least with those, you can read for 10-15 pages, put it down, and pick it up at another time. (perfect for On the Pot reading)

After a while, it becomes difficult to believe the veracity of some of his claims as to just how wacky his childhood was...which was also challenged by the family with which he based the Finches on. (a fact I discovered after reading the book)
