It was funny, right? I think I remember that.
It can't get any worse.... or can it? Candide shows us that it most certainly can and when you think that you've gone through the worst there is, there is someone around you that has gone through even worse than that. Through it all Candide remains optimistic, thanks to his mentor, Pangloss. But will Pangloss remain optimistic through similar tragedies?

I read this book in college, not because I had to, but because I found an abandoned copy in a classroom. If it was free, I figured I should read it. It was kind of a weird book. I remember the eating of someone's butt cheek, which is really strange.
