I picked this one up because I really enjoy Kelly Armstrong's "Women of the Otherworld" series. This one, however, revolves around a thoroughly non-magical hit woman, and I couldn't even finish it. And I NEVER leave books unfinished. I just found all of the characters repellent, and not terribly interesting. Even the lure of seeing her (presumably) eventually track down and eliminate the nasty hit-man-turned-serial-killer to get closure on his little crime spree isn't enough for me to put up wit
