I would give this book a 3/5.

This book is one set in a world where a flu strain has decimated the world's population. The remainder are still trying to survive after the epidemic.

There a few things about this book that set it apart from other books of this genre, which is refreshing.

It's not often you get such accurate science in science fiction, but I think Station 11 really delivered here. The cause of the apocalypse will likely be the cause of any real apocalypse. How the people adapted was incredibly convincing. Makes you not want to be in America when the apocalypse happens, with all the guns and religious nutjobs. Although, it did seem that engineers were disproportionately affected by the flu based on the very slow recovery from the apocalypse.
