6 times through now, at different times of my life, and this is the final time. I just can't like it. While the moors are beautiful, the inhabitants aren't, not even through the prism of wildness. They are like a blight upon the natural beauty described. I am happy to, quite literally, close the book on this tale.

Honestly,reading this book was a real struggle .I don't understand how people consider this "the best book of all time" or something like that, i just couldn't even get attached to any character which is the reason why i was so happy that i finished it so that i would never look at it again.
Really,this is one of the rare books where i actually found nothing positive enough to talk about.

This is supposed to be a romance? It was a tale of revenge, or perhaps just a bunch of people who can't forgive or forget anything. I closed the book and gave it away immediately.

Great writing but hard to like or care about any of the characters. A very hateful, revenge filled love story.
