This is not your typical boy meets girl and they live happily ever after. Great story with a few good twists and turns. I read this in one sitting.
I wasn't sure going in that I was going to love this book, but I'm so glad I stuck with it...it took me about 20 pages or so to get used to the author's writing style, so much like she's actually speaking to you and so wonderfully descriptive and then I was sucked in...by Clare, Teo and Cornelia...what wonderful names!! I loved it, loved it, loved it!!

I read this in one day. I really liked it. It was not a difficult read, thus the quick turnover. I liked the story. I liked the characters. I liked the ending. I would highly recommend this to women who are looking for a good read that doesn't require a lot of mental strain. You'll feel good while you read it and after it is done.

Even though I read this out of order (I read Belong to Me, which features Cornelia later in life) I still super enjoyed this novel and it made some of Belong to Me make sense. But it stands alone in its own right.

Im afriad I was not a huge fan of this book. I found the writing a little quirky and the overall story too over the top.
This book is beautifully written and has characters that you want to read about. I loved it!
