I am a fangirl and appreciated that this book is adorably positive and accepting to all nerdy passions. I found it extremely detailed which didn't bode well for my adhd. Since I am already well aware of Fandom and social media it lost me in a few places. But for someone much younger and exploring their geek/nerdy side this is perfect. ...more

A fantastic primer for anyone just venturing into the sometimes-daunting spaces of fandom; don't let the title fool you, this book is for people of any gender identity who carry within them a burning enthusiasm for some particular piece of art or pop culture. A cute read but much I (and any Fangirl/boy would) already know. Glad it's all in one place though for reference purposes. ...more

A good introduction to how to be a fangirl, with clear (and sometimes slangy) language and a good treatise on feminism as well. I mostly wish it had had more pictures!
