I don't know what to say about this book. It seemed like a very long and out-of-touch way to arrive at the same theme as most coming-of-age books! I thought it would have been a more enjoyable read, having stood the test of time. . . maybe if I didn't already know that Greasers and Socs are both human and have the potential to enjoy sunsets, it would have hit me the same way it hits others. ...more

While I didn't think this story was omg amazing, I do have a craving now to rewatch the movie, which after reading the book finally, I still deem infinitely better and superior in all ways.
