- I like all bromance in this book.. A & C, A & D, even C & D. It's just beautiful.. I like Chaol and Aedion together. Hahaha. However, I like Aedion and Dorian even more! Omg, their banter made me lol throughout the book. *grin* But the BEST Is when Chaol told Dorian "I love you" I died inside. <3

Heir of Fire, the third book in the Throne of Glass series, follows several characters on their own journeys to find the strength and inspiration to work towards a better future. The personal demons defeated in this book was quite uplifting.

We were introduced to four new central characters - Aedion, Sorscha, Rowan and Manon. Whilst the introduction of Manon, a Blackbeak witch, and Aedion was slightly out of place and took some time to adjust to, I cannot deny that Manon's adventures were thrill Heir of Fire, the third book in the Throne of Glass series, follows several characters on their own journeys to find the strength and inspiration to work towards a better future. The personal demons defeated in this book was quite uplifting.

We were introduced to four new central characters - Aedion, Sorscha, Rowan and Manon. Whilst the introduction of Manon, a Blackbeak witch, and Aedion was slightly out of place and took some time to adjust to, I cannot deny that Manon's adventures were thrilling and exciting to explore, and Aedion's presence was highly appreciated. I believe this was a risky decision that Sarah J Maas made, but ultimately it became one worth making. I enjoyed Manon's internal battle in trying to understand and suppress her new found feelings, and Aedion's complete and utter devotion and loyalty. Sorscha was a beautiful and quitely strong character who I do quite like, and Rowan, well, was a bully in my opinion but provided Celaena with a friendship she desperately needed.

I found this book showed us characters who were battered and broken, and found the strength to get out of their struggles through friendship. Loneliness is incredibly debilitating, and so having the presence of someone close by can make a huge difference to someone trying to get out of a dark place. Support and belief from a friend also has a huge impact. So people, be kind. Support and love your friends, let them know how fantastic they are. And give them plenty of hugs. Physical comfort is exactly what is says, comfort.

Celaena is a character I have loved right from the beginning and will continue to love. This book was really about her personal battle, about her learning to have self forgiveness. It was a book that showed us a battered and broken woman who learned to accept the things she had endured and gain courage. The strength of this girl is absolutely incredible and I find that for the majority of this book, she was the only one I really cared all that much for. I have always felt that she is what makes this series. It is a series that is held up by the fantastically complex and interesting protagonist, and I am shaking with excitement to see what she achieves.

I have heard some pretty average things from my friend about the next book in the series, Queen of Shadows, so I do admit I am going into this book a bit concerned, however I will still most definitely pick it straight up. I want to see what happens to this interesting and yet incredibly sad world. ...more

I'm going to make this clear I do not like Rowan, yeah Chaol would never do what Rowan did and what Rowan does is a massive NO, and people like him for what he does to Celaena it's disgusting also the amount of red flags I missed the first time I read Heir of Fire has opened my eyes to what a douche Rowan is and how gullible Celaena is in this book and to think she's better then this and just accepts it!
