5 solid ninja stars of glimmering steel!
*Hugs book to chest in hopes that this will quell the feels.....it doesn't work*
Oh. My. God! AMAZING!
Literally I binge-read through this on day two because I could freaking tear my eyes away from the pages!
I am in love.
With the world.
With the characters.
With the situation....okay maybe not the situation, but rather how Celaena is handling it.

Celaena Sardothien became the most famous assassin in the land by the age of seventeen! Gosh, she does me proud!

Kay, man.. let me say..
This series contain many thing that I love.
Assassin heroine. Check
The freakin prince. Check
The Masquerade ball. Check
Medieval period setting. Check
What's more? I really like the plot and the characters, BUT there is something that irritate me. The love triangle. I felt like I saw the déjà vu of Rose, Drimitri, and Adrian from VA. *sigh* and that means something.
It made me don't want to continue this series at first.

This book was absolutely brilliant! Exactly my kind of thing, reminded me a lot of the books about Deverry. I loved Celaena's relationship with Chaol, especially, and Elena. Can't wait to read the sequel! ...more

Who else enjoyed the simpler times in Throne of Glass when Rowboat Wifebeater didn't come out of nowhere in Heir of Fire to become Celeana's love-interest for absolutely no reason at all. Those times where the best.
A summery for Throne of Glass:

And I'm glad I re-read this because oh boy a lot of the books I've read this month have been horrible especially the fantasy ones so going back to Celeana's world was very much welcomed and hey going back into Throne of Glass well hey I could re-live my Chaoleana ship again or the beginning of it again and heck I tried to take my time re-reading this well that didn't go as planned as I flew through last 200 pages in no time and it was a lot more fun ...more
