A thoroughly enjoyable read (or listen). Josh does a great job of setting the mood for the book and describes, in detail, the feeling of Shyish. The characters are very well developed and you really feel for all of them in one way or another. It is truly great to see the Age of Sigmar world space being so well developed in novels like this.

It is a little bit slow in the beginning, there are some good fights and just imagining the siege in the city it was worth it, but there are some things that I didn't enjoy a lot like the relation between some characters and the end was very open... There is an intriguing talk between two Mortachs at the end.
