Nature, Love and Divisions
This novel is about so many things, but is of course focused upon Lady Chatterley and her serious fling with a person not of her class. DHL has a wonderful way of writing and as he muses on nature as well as sensuality (including lovemaking) he is very alluring. I have never taken a literature class, so some literary elements can often times be lost on me or not have much importance. I love books. I read (mostly) to be engrossed in a plot, to escape reality and delve into another world by an engaging story and interesting characters. I find it important to explain this, so my rating for this book can be understood. It didn't have either of these elements to me.
