I read it too fast, this is a book that could benefit from the element of time and even place. The next time I go on vacation near water, this book's coming with me. I wish I knew about it for my 4 day boat ride a few years ago. Having this book on a trip like that would surely spark incredible conversations. On a whim on a particularly rough day, I bought a plane ticket to an island, and 5 days later was laying by the sea wondering why I had ever been so stressed.
I had a chat with my brother, and he laughed, asking if I ever read Moby Dick. No, I told him, I hadn't gotten to it yet...it was a "someday" book. He as ...more

Loved it! I can't believe I haven't read this sooner. Maybe just because the length is a bit intimidating.
