There is so much to talk about this book - There has to be right, its over 800 pages!
The premise is super exciting, and i loved the characters' intro and how the book started.

ABout 200 pages in and crazy things started to happen and I was super intrigued.
However, after that, I felt there was a lot of dragging. So right from about 300th to a 600th i literally pushed through. Of course there was a few things here and there but that was all.

The last 10 chapters thou! Was brilliant! So worth the pu

Good story that's well written. So why only 3 stars? This story is just so depressing and grim. The characters all tortured both physically and emotionally, the government/social class system is oppressive, and everyone is as crappy as they can possibly be to our MCs every chance they get. 800 pages of people being awful is just too much. ...more

I loved this book.

The tech in this book is similar to our world which sometimes doesn't work but here the world building around it all makes it seem natural. There are a slew of supernatural characters and I am here for it. We get shifters, angels, fae, witches, sprites and I'm sure that there were more. But it is done in a way that doesn't make things convoluted. All this tech and types of characters just belongs in the story.

I wasn't sure how to I'd like Bryce with her party girl ways and all

I just finished this Book and all I can say is Wow! I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
I will state that I am a fan of Sarah J. Maas books and this book did not Disappoint.
Honestly this book starts out kind of slow. However you need this slow to get to the build up parts of the book. I’m so happy I stuck with it because this books really heats up and kept me excited. For me it got more exciting somewhere around Chapters 20-30 and just kept getting better.
I love Sarah’s vivid descripti

This book was SO GOOD! At first I was a little put off by the unnecessary cursing and stupid behavior of the main character, but she really grew and became someone better through the journey in the book. She really kicked ass at the end! I'm quite eager to read more books by this author. Her story was unique and fresh and kept me engrossed all the way through to the end. I also want to give this big points for having really satisfying climaxes! I hate when I am invested in a book and the ending ...more
