The mistake I made is believing that this is the first book in a standalone series and I didn't have to worry about the other series that I've read like, a decade ago.
The number of people being mentioned. Oh gosh. It was like an ADHD nightmare with all the actions going and things told from the POVs of people whom I was being expected to know - but clearly forgotten - To say I was overwhelmed would be a huge understatement.

This book is a spin-off of the Pride series. Now, I didn't realize this before I read it and I was wondering who all these other characters were and if I was supposed to know them somehow. So, it would be best to read Pride first, but you totally don't have to. In fact, out off all the books set in this world, this is probably my favorite books.

I L-O-V-E Shelly Laurenston's books. I have read every book in every series and have never been disappointed. This was yet another fantastic story/series that I can not wait to read more of. If you are wanting a little bit of humor woven into your sexy hot story...these are the ones for you.

I giggled my way through the entire book
