Wow what a fantastic ending to this trilogy. It was tense from the beginning to the end and so many times I wasn't sure what Lila was going to do next. I knew she had to defeat Victor somehow, but that somehow always seemed too hard, too challenging and I was never sure that she would do it and survive.

I enjoyed this finale to the Black Blade trilogy. It is a bit dark and the bad guy is evil as evil can be, and the heroine is even 'more' special than ever. But still I liked her, the ending, her friends and her solid non-angsty romance with the most perfect YA book boyfriend ever. ( which stayed in the background. And yay, not a love triangle in sight) ...more
