I'm might be a bit biased with reviewing this, because it kinda had me at Robin's love for books and libraries. I mean come on!
The world building is simple. The other characters are intriguing and drive the plot. All in all this book is more dialogue heavy, and for some reason it works out great! There is no need for a more showing writing-style instead of telling. Because, the writing doesn't lack anything in that regard.

Cute story.
I had to get over my predisposed dislike of such a meek "terrified of confrontation" heroine and her sometimes infantile coping mechanisms to give this book a fair shake.
Robin, the h, is otherwise likable and I enjoyed the story. Her relationship with 'her' Demon was well done and their banter amusing. There isn't a romance, but a working partnership. Not sure if a romance is where the story is going but the story doesn't currently need it to enrich the book. Their partnership feels ...more
