AT LEAST HALF ALL OF THE CONSTELLATION’S WORTH OF STARS
Man oh man oh man. So ridiculously good. Just when I thought I couldn’t bear to read another beauty & the beast retelling... BOOM; I read this. Aaaand my life is forever changed.
And oh yeah I read this in like... HALF A DAY! THAT is how effing good this is. I mean its close to 500 pgs! Only other book I’ve ever done that with was Crooked Kingdom (SOC #2).

I enjoyed this book, I liked the story (although it was a bit predictable) and I liked the characters. I loved the way the retelling was done, and the humour killed me and I laughed out loud in several places of the book! BUT - Mary Sues are my pet peeve. Harper is a good character, early on she lets us know that she is disabled and has cerebral palsy which is absolutely great because we need more disabled heroines. But what I did not like was Harper underselling herself and what’s she’s capable

I thought it was a really unique fairytale retelling. It surprised me a lot and it didn't move too fast or too slow. I'll definitely be recommending it to others!
