Shelves: favorites, to-be-reread

I just finished listening to this book as read by Kenneth Branagh--an experience I highly recommend. I read this book some years ago and loved it, and listening to it was every bit as fun the second time around.

This is not a horror book by any definition of the genre. It is a gothic literature book that requires the reader to think about good and evil, love and hate, and what makes us human, or not human. It is a treatise on the philosophy and the ethics of science. It was written two hundred ye ...more
