Okay so I love these books. The character development of everyone is fantastic. Also I want ferret thieves of my own that was the best scene.
We learn so much more of the world and about different types of magic. Nevada learns tons about her own abilities in ways that make sense to me. Plus the relationships she builds with others in this one is excellently done. I love the way her and Rogan's relationship grows in this story. Rogan is a more intriguing character in this one as well and the way h ...more

I sat down this morning to read the book and finished it within hours. I loved it, the plot kept me in a grip to the end. I always have loved Ilona Andrews' books but, somehow Nevada and Rogan outshone Kate Daniels and Curran Lennart with their chemistry and spark. Nevada and Kate are both strong women, who refuse to lean on any man but they do so because they recognize that Rogan and Curran love them for their strengths and weaknesses. OMG - what an excellent series. Love reading this Author.
This is the 3rd series I've started reading. All series have been excellent paranormal, a little romance, suspense, action packed with a little kick of comedy. :-)
