** Update 2/12/2014 ** Well damn! This book is finally out in audio!! I grabbed it at audible the other day, even though I have a kindle version and dead tree that my daughter bought me for Christmas.. signed my Mrs Chase :) So now this is disrupting my life.. I cant stop listening to it! I keep replaying my favorite parts. I cannot tell a lie... It took a bit for this book to grow on me. Not until THE lightning strike did I become invested in the characters. Until then I had found Jess amusing, and Dane an intriguing thug, but I wasn't turning the pages furiously. *whispers* I actually bought the audiobook as an add on to help me fall asleep because I was so very "blah" about the story. This was my very first historical romance, so the bar for books that came after was set incredibly high. If you haven't read it, I cannot recommend Lord of Scoundrels enough.
Also, I envy you, but only a little because the re-read was, unsurprisingly, a delightful experience.
