Boy was this a long book! Didn't realise how long it was until I finished it as I had somehow turned off my chapter/book time length on my Kindle! I'm not complaining too much as it was a good book, but just wasn't expecting it to be that long!

Shelves: couldn-t-finish
After a second go at reading this, I'm conceding defeat and giving up at the 67% mark. This book is so not for me.

Despite some cheesiness in the way the plot is handled, I think the basic premise of this book is very entertaining. I like it when authors turn angels into bad guys, and I love that the male lead was basically an angel-killing version of the hunters from Supernatural. The character Cully even reminded me of Uncle Bobby, for you Supernatural fans out there.

At first when i started reading this it was a very slow start and i found it very hard to get into. But as alex and willow get away from the church of angels i found myself getting further into it. Definitely a good read i you stick to it, and you really get into willows and alex's feelings towards each other. I commend weatherly's writing skills for writing such a well written book even when the characters are in a car or hotel for most of the book, but it this did make a good basis for evolvin ...more
