4.5 stars - This time around Ian Ranulf is suffering some personal problems related to his penchant for red-haired woman, but when he happens upon the aftermath of a werewolf attack, Ian is going to discover that willowy red-heads can't hold a candle to feisty curvy blonds. And since the killer still has the lovely Daisy in his sights, Ian will do everything in his power to keep Daisy safe from the 'were' while also trying to keep the killer from exposing the existence of Ian's wolf-shifting rac ...more

This was the second book in the Darkest London series and was just as good as the first, if not a bit better. This one revolved around Daisy, sister of Miranda from the first book and Lord Ian Ranulf, who also appeared in the first book. I am utterly in love with this series so far.

This was an enjoyable book. Luckily while it followed book 1 in the timeline it was easy enough to follow without remembering a ton of details about the first one.
I liked Daisy as a heroine, she was feisty as well as flawed. Ian made a good hero, damaged and jaded but still somehow wanting more out of his long life.
Good love story with paranormal aspects. Nothing super special but I will likely read book 3 at some point as I am curious what will happen.
