What Members Thought
This book was pretty boring. Hugh is a dunderhead. The assassination plot is weak. The curse was basically over after book 1, and yet it reappears as an unbreachable wall again. 2.5 stars rounded down to 2.
I am in the minority of people who loved Jane. What Hugh put her through and the things he said to her... I am astonished that she put up with it as much as she did, how hurtful for her after obsessing over him for 10 years, of course we understand why he did it. I loved the way he was also obsessed over her. The death of Grey however could have has a little more excitement to it.
