This one failed to captivate me like Bitten did. It starts off with the fast paced action of the first book but then comes to a stand-still halfway through. I liked the addition of new paranormal characters (Xavier especially) but most aren't around long enough to really enjoy. I love the love story between Clay and Elena and how it's shown more in this book.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a great sequel to Bitten.
