This is such an addicting dystopia book that I'll read it again (after I finish reading the trilogy that is).

I was sceptical in reading this because the only other dystopian book I've read before this was the Hunger Games.
This book was better in the way that young teens aren't thrown into a arena and forced to kill each other like HG.
Roth really knows how to write a good suspense. I couldn't put this down ...more

Read this really quickly. It wasn't a heavy read and I loved the pacing and the fact the author didn't submerge us in pointless details. Great character development with Tris. I almost felt the emotions with her. lovely yet exciting chemistry between her and Four. I really hope the film does it justice. Need the next book, NOW!

Fast read. this is a great series to read. similar to Hunger Games only with kids having to choose their course of life. Fighting to stay alive in some aspects. Great storyline. Now reading book 3. would recommend to others that enjoyed the Hunger Games book's. couldn't put books down but had too book's.

It's another Dystopian future society with about 45% similarity to hunger games, minus the games part, 10% like Brave New World and 5% Fight Club... I haven't figured out the other 40% yet, but It's not a bad book. The climax was good and the novel ended well. I'll read the next one to find out what happens.
