Foundation is a disjointed conglomeration of stories about a man who has learned how to predict the future through mathematics and what happens when he tries to apply this "science", called psychohistory, to social progress. Although it was very dry, the sardonic and acerbic wit of many of the characters was its saving grace. If you are a fan of satire, you may get a kick out of Foundation.

I'm not sure what to think of it. Good ? Bad? Almost entirely dialogue; except for one minor female character near the end, all male characters; episodic crises resolved without violence; all leading to... a sequel I guess. Who am I rooting for?
