I really liked this one!

For some reason I didn't expect anything special from this book, maybe a 2-star read. But someone told me I should try it and I said well... it can't be that bad, right?
Well, I was definitely surprised! The story caught me off-guard and didn't let me go until I finished it. The plot was fast-paced, something that I love but don't expect in a pnr/uf book (authors think that, because it's a new world and all, they have to explain everything in a 50-page description). I really love this book a lot.

Nalini Singh's paranormal series are some of my favorite books ever, and this book is no different. While the book isn't as strong as some of the later books in the series, it's a fantastic start, and hooked me right from the get-go.

I love the premise of the book, with the world divided into a trinity of the Psy, changelings, and humans. Additionally, the idea of the Psy cutting off their emotions adds a fascinating depth to the story, and makes the love stor ...more

I have to admit I judge this book by its cover, well title actually and it took me ages to pick it up. This was a mistake. I loved this book and couldn't put it down.
The world building was awesome, these books are romance so they tend to have a happy ending for the coupled but they are in no way boring. ...more

I love that it was different and introduced another supernatural. It was an interesting and intriguing story. If the books are connected more than just in the same world, I can see myself loving this series.
