I really liked this one!

For some reason I didn't expect anything special from this book, maybe a 2-star read. But someone told me I should try it and I said well... it can't be that bad, right?
Well, I was definitely surprised! The story caught me off-guard and didn't let me go until I finished it. The plot was fast-paced, something that I love but don't expect in a pnr/uf book (authors think that, because it's a new world and all, they have to explain everything in a 50-page description). Well this was an unexpected pleasure. I picked this book to listen to as an audiobook for my commute and as soon as I got home I borrowed an ebook version from the library so I could finish the last 100 pages... and the proceeded to rent the 2nd book and begin that.

This book has amazing worlding being done. I loved how the Changelings aren't all just wolves, there is variety even talking about Changeling eagles and such. Besides humans who aren't important to the story, understandably since they ...more

I have to admit I judge this book by its cover, well title actually and it took me ages to pick it up. This was a mistake. I loved this book and couldn't put it down.
The world building was awesome, these books are romance so they tend to have a happy ending for the coupled but they are in no way boring. ...more
