This starts a bit slow but does pick up. Was completely sucked in, can't wait to continue the series. Narrator did a great job

Very entertaining! I had a little trouble keeping up with the story in the beginning, there was a lot going on and was a little confusing at times but it picked up in the first few chapters and I really enjoyed it. Rachel Morgan is one tough cookie, even for a witch! Facing death threats left and right she manages to keep her humor intact...finding a few friends along the way. Love the mix of a witch, pixy, vampire and human all coming together in this story. Jenks was by far my favorite charact

Rachel Morgan is a kick ass witch who is always getting herself into trouble. With the help of her friends, she must always create interesting solutions to get herself out of the messes she creates for herself. She has a difficult time trusting people and men in particular. Throughout the series, she learns to love and trust. If Rachel sounds like you or any other woman you know, these books are fun to read. Harrison creates an intriguing background by using the division of Cincinnati over Ohio

I loved this book! I have had this series on my to-read list for so long and finally got round to reading it.
Rachel Morgan is a witch working for the I.S - Inderland Security and decides she has had enough of being given the crappy jobs as a runner so quits her job. However no-one just quits the I.S and walks away without a bounty being put on their heads. But lucky for Rachel, the I.S actually wants to get rid of her so her boss Denon is willing to let her go until Ivy Tamwood, the best runner ...more

Finally going through this series again. It's been so long I barely remember but I did get through the first few books. I'm doing the audiobook this time around and I think I'm having a better time getting through it. Though the narrator isn't my favorite and she isn't the worst I've heard, but sometimes there is an inkling that she isn't for me.
I get why Rachel wanted to get Trent. I do. But towards the end I wanted her to stop putting herself in bad places and just find something else. She we ...more
