Oh, such a good book, but some tough stuff to read delivered by some truly great writing. Candice Carty-Williams has a wonderful engaging style and a great way of describing people and places, and her dialogue is great. But Queenie herself is a mess and oh, how I just wanted to give her a hug and tell her it wasn't her fault. Fortunately, she has some great friends and family (and some not-so-great) who help her as much as she lets them, but Queenie herself has to hit absolute rock bottom before ...more
