Hard to rate this book.
If I had not had previous Zadie Smith experience, this would probably be a 4/5 for me.
What I liked:
1. The cover.
2. the dance analogies/references. As someone who also grew up watching the golden age of Hollywood musicals, this was fantastic. The dance discussions were informed, believable and thoroughly entertaining to me. For others not so enamoured with dance, this may have actually been a draw back.
